Tugas jawatan:

  • Responsible for the machine installation and calibration of various group machines at customer sites to verify conformity to operational specifications
  • To make service calls at customer sites to correct problems involving company products, to diagnose and correct the problem, and performance of related duties to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support services to representative engineers and end-users by phone.
  • Assure prompt preparation and absolute accuracy of reports and records connected to assign duties.
  • Conduct training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of products
  • Assist sales to fulfill commitment, develop customize software program (contract inspection) for customer’s specific needs
  • Perform basic level application software training in the programming for Manual and Low-end Coordinate Measuring Machines
  • Demonstrate machine operation and performance to its fullest designed potential and prepare demonstration programs, tools, and other aids to meet customer needs and expectations
  • Develop, prepare, and conduct training classes to customers in machine operations and software programming
  • Performs other duties as may be required
Kelayakan jawatan:

  • Polytechnic Graduate in Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of technical courses
  • Minimum 3 -4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in Mechanical, electrical, electronic and software in related capital equipment
  • Good working knowledge of Metrology, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, and Coordinate Measuring Machines is a plus
  • Experience in CAD/CAM environment, programmable controllers, and personal computers including but not limited to Microsoft software applications.
  • Proficient in oral & written communication
  • Pro-active, highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and excellent customer service oriented with a positive attitude
  • Requires to travel within the region

Job Interview Tips




• Do not smoke, chew gum, or eat garlic beforehand.

• Wear suitable interview clothes.

• Take copies of your CV with you.

• Arrive on time for your job interview.

• Any applications handed before the interview begins, are to be filled in as accurately as possible, make sure they match the information in your Cv and Cover Letter.

• Always greet the interviewer by his/her last name and try to pronounce it correctly.

• Have a good firm handshake.

• Look alert and interested. Scan the room once and then keep your eyes on the interviewer.

• Wait until you are offered a chair before you sit down.

• Stress your achievements.

• Always conduct yourself professionally and if something beyond your control occurs, show a sense of humor.

• Be enthusiastic and show it in your replies and body language.

• Answer the interview question by more than a simple yes or no but try not to go over the 60 second limit.

• Avoid at all cost complaining about your current or former employer in your job interview.

• Do not answer questions about politics or religion if the job is completely unrelated.

• Do not raise salary discussions on your first interview - this is usually done on the second interview. Make sure you do your wage research before hand.

How to Find a Job

1.Network
Think of all the people you know -- relatives, friends, teachers, classmates, old co-workers, and others.

2.Targeted job search and Resume
Make sure your resume is targeted to the employers who are receiving it.

3.Be prepared
You should always have a copy of your resume on you at all times! You never know who you are going to run into while you're out.

4.Create a contact database
Write down all the employers that you contact along with the ones that contacted you.

5.Learn how to talk about yourself
I know for some of you this is a hard concept, but you have to get comfortable with it, if you are going to land a job.

6.Prepare a speech
You never know who you'll meet in an elevator, in line at the coffee shop, or on the street.

7.Find out all there is about the employers in your field
This means research!Try to remain current on all the issues or developments in your field, read trade journals, professional publications, or the newspaper.

8.Follow-up with leads immediately
I cannot stress this enough. If you find out about a position late in the day, call right then. Don't wait until the next day.
